Congratulations go out to Larry! As well as our thanks for purchasing raffle tickets, including the winning one of course! We would also like to thank those individuals and/or companies that purchased raffle tickets. We sold 210 tickets and raised $850. Proceeds from the raffle will be used in support of the goals of the Mount Diablo Surveyors Historical Society to: “Collect, Preserve, and Display Artifacts of the Land Surveying
Profession” This is our 1st annual metal locator raffle and was held March 27, 2002 at the California Land Surveyors Association’s (CLSA) 2002 Conference held at Harveys Resort & Casino, Lake Tahoe, NV. We wish to thank CLSA for allowing us to conduct our raffle in conjunction with their gathering. And of course we would like to thank the Schonstedt Instrument Company for the donation of the model# GA-52Cx metal locator (valued at $860) for our raffle.
